Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered into a search widget is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query under its own terms. Schuyler County Court Docket does not keep a separate log of the search terms entered through the widget.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a message is sent to us, it may be retained to respond or manage the communication. It is not shared outside the operating organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, hosting and related services can receive technical information about the visit, such as:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored by a browser that can support measurement of traffic and page use. Analytics providers may aggregate that data. Browser settings can block cookies, although some functions may then behave differently.
What We Do With This Data
- Operating, securing, and improving page delivery
- Passing a widget query to its selected provider
- Assessing general use and performance trends
- Diagnosing technical problems
- Delivering advertising that a provider may tailor to an audience
No Court-Record Data on File
This resource does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of Schuyler County court dockets or personal case records. It provides general information about Missouri Case.net, the Schuyler County Circuit Clerk, and official records routes. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search widgets. Information entered there is handled under that provider's privacy policy, retention practices, and sharing practices rather than this policy. Review the provider's policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links to court, clerk, archive, and other outside resources lead to services with their own privacy practices. Their policy governs after a visitor leaves this resource, so it should be reviewed before personal information is shared.
Some advertising partners may track activity across services to deliver advertising. That activity occurs under their systems and policies.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold by this resource. Information can be received by:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable operational safeguards are used for the information handled here. No internet-connected system can guarantee complete security, and no assurance is made that a breach can never occur.
Users Under 18
This resource is directed to adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. A concern that a minor has submitted information may be raised through the available contact route.
Your Data Rights
Missouri court-record access is governed by the Missouri Sunshine Law and court-access rules, including RSMo 610.011, RSMo 610.023, and Missouri Court Operating Rule 4. These provisions address official court-record access, not a guarantee that every online docket attachment is available. For information held by this resource, a visitor may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be updated as operating practices change. A revised version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
